Evita Museum

Address: Lafinur 2988 – Palermo

This place tells the story and legacy of one of the most important women in Argentinean history. It displays documents, pictures, testimonies and personal objects that account for the life and glory of this lady who turned into myth for her actions and her early decease. It used to be the “Hogar de Transito N°2” (shelter for single mothers) that was administrated by the Eva Perón Foundation, declared Cultural and Historic Heritage by the city Legislature. The café and souvenir shop next to it have been set like back in her times, giving the impression that it has been there since then. The museum opens from Tuesday to Sunday, from 2pm to 7:30pm.
