Address: Defensa 628 – San Telmo
It is the work of the engineer Eduardo Castillo. This building was inaugurated in 1877, with a very noticeable Italian classicist style. It had a part of the building dedicated to administration and it also had three big workshops where smelting, metal sheet and issuing.
It belongs to the National Army (Ejército Nacional) and the Institute of Historical Studies (Instituto de Estudios Históricos) of said institution has its seat there.
