Nicolás Avellaneda Bridge

Address: Pedro de Mendoza y Almirante Brown s/n – La Boca

The Nicolás Avellaneda bridge stands out in the mouth of the Riachuelo as one of the most descriptive postcards of the city of Buenos Aires. It was inaugurated in 1914 in order to join la Boca and the Maciel Island, its origin as transborder is due to authorization granted to the Ferrocarril Sur (South Railroad) to build an iron bridge. Streetcars, carts and passenger transfers passed through it.
