In direction towards Punta Delgada, 17 km. from San Antonio Oeste, there is an excellent beach area.
“La Mar Grande” is one of the busiest beaches and its name is due to the fact that at low tide it reveals a large beach.
The main characteristic of this beach is its low slope. This makes it possible to walk a lot towards the sea always with little depth, which is ideal to enjoy it as a family with children. It is also recommended for fishing, especially silverside and kite surfing.
Another reason to get to know “La Grande” is bird watching and especially the colors of the flamingos that merge with the blue of the Atlantic sea.
