Calamari with Onions

We keep using the Recipe Guide of Erotic Patagonia by René Casamiquela. This month’s proposal includes sea fruit, a typical Atlantic Patagonia product. It is really simple; try it without delay and enjoy it with all your senses.


1 kg. Small calamari
1 large onion
1-tablespoon oregano
1 bay leaf
1-tablespoon red pepper
8 almonds
½ liter dry white wine


Heat the oil, then adding the onion, finely chopped, the oregano, and the bay leaf. Once the onion is brown, throw the calamari and the wine in. Finally, add the almonds previously chopped and the pepper.
