Forest Crepes

Our visitor and member of Club Patagonia, Lola Quintiero, has sent us this recipe for an exquisite dessert that we would like to share with you. Celebrate the holiday season by putting something special on your table.

Ingredients for the crepe batter:

*150 cc of Milk
*80 grams of flour
*2 Eggs
*50 grams of butter

Filling:

*3 tablespoons per crepe of ice cream
*2 tablespoons per crepe of jam of your favorite red berry

Fruits of the forest sauce:

*250 grams of forest fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries)
*50 grams of crystal sugar
*cherry or orange liquor

Variations:

Bitter-sweet chocolate gratings
Confectioners sugar

Cooking instructions

Crepes:

Melt the butter and blend with the other ingredients in a bowl.
Pour the batter through a colander and then let it rest for an hour in the refrigerator. Cook the crepes in the traditional manner.

Filling:

Fill each crepe with ice cream on one end and jam on the other (be careful not to use too much filling). Fold each crepe into the shape of a triangle.

Sauce:

Place the forest fruits in a sauce pan and add the sugar and the liquor of your choice. Cook until the fruits they burst. Take the pan off the flame.

Presentation:

Serve the crepes accompanied with the forest fruit sauce.
Decorate with the chocolate and dust with confectioners’ sugar.
Serve immediately.
