The building designed by the architect Guillermo Alvarez has noticeable influences from the Catalan modernism in its style. It belongs to the circuit popularly known as the “damned buildings”. It is known for being a “haunted house”. According to the legend, a beautiful female painter who committed suicide used to live there. Since then, people have been saying that during the nights a ghost wanders through the tower and makes its presence noticeable.
