It constitutes one of the symbols of the monumental and rationalist buildings of the Peronist government that marked the city-planning projects of the 40’s. It is a tower of 42 floors and 132 m of height. Some time ago it was the headquarters of the newspaper Democracia, and also the first building of channel 7, where all the programming of the official transmitter was broadcasted. Even the elderly still remember it as the old channel 7.
