This is a half-day excursion that departs in the morning.
You will travel 135 km from Puerto Iguazú until reaching a town called Caraguatay, where the “Ernesto Che Guevara” Provincial Park is located. This 18-hectare area is known as the “Solar del Che” and is unique for many reasons. In addition to having a historical-cultural value for its connection with the legendary revolutionist, it also has a beautiful view of the Paraná River and the Caraguatay Island. All walks are escorted by guides and have a low difficulty level. You will visit the Che’s house, the Salamanca stream, the “Pileta,” the “Giants”; all of them with a spectacular view of the Paraná River with its great water volume. The lush greenery contrasts with the red soil. There are many features preserved from the days of the Guevara family (1928).
