Description
This half-day excursion will show you Cerro Catedral (a hill), located only 19 km from San Carlos de Bariloche. It constitutes the main winter sports center in Argentina. Its crests resemble the church towers of medieval times, which is the reason for its name.
Your vehicle will travel along the Bustillo Avenue, which skirts Lake Nahuel Huapí, up to km 8, where it will take a detour in order to go by the Center of Salmon culture and, finally, get to Villa Catedral, at the bottom of the Cerro, situated 1000m above sea level.
Cerro Catedral, apart from having excellent natural conditions, has all the necessary infrastructure for the practice of winter sports. Different types of lifts take you to different spots from where you will enjoy beautiful sightings.
In any case, you will have the chance to enjoy a cup of exquisite hot chocolate in any of the many cafés that you can find on the Cerro.
Note:
The time of departure is 1:30 pm.
The ascent on a lift chair or any other lifts is not included.
During the winter, it is advisable to take suitable snow clothing.
