Beach located about 15/20 kms. north of the city of Puerto Madryn, which forms a protected natural area and is a coastal viewing site for the Southern Right Whale. The natural reserve was created in 2001. Due to the tranquility of its waters and the great depth of the coast, the whales come very close to it, without running the risk of being stranded. This depth is what allows sightings from about 20 meters from the coast.
