Lower valley

A charming excursion, that will allow you to develop a general vision of the atmosphere and the history of the entire seaside area surrounding Puerto Madryn and the Welsh influence.

Departing, in a established schedule, from Puerto Madryn towards Rawson (which is the capital of the Province) you will visit the colourful Port of Rawson and Playa Union. At this point, there is the possibility of enjoying a nautical tour through open sea and of catching sight of the ‘Toninas’ (Commerson’s Dolphins), one of the smallest kind of dolphins in the world.

Soon after, the tour continues towards Gaiman, one of the towns that best represents the culture of the Welsh colony in Argentina. You will have enough free time to visit the city and if you wish it that way, there is the possibility of tasting the typical Welsh Tea and a vast variety of cakes and homemade pastries.

During the return to the hotel, you will stop by the city of Trelew in order to visit the Egidio Feruglio’s Paleontological Museum, considered the most important of South America for its displayed samples of Paleontology.
