Description
Day 1
The journey begins at 6:00 p.m., departing from Puerto La Soledad, in Bahía Tranquila (Punta Bandera). The boat glides across the calm waters of Lake Argentino, heading toward the remote and silent beauty of Seno Mayo.
As the sun sets, the landscape transforms: mountain silhouettes soften against the evening light, floating ice drifts across glassy channels, and the stillness of Patagonia envelops the senses.
Arrival at Bahía Toro marks the end of the day’s voyage. A dinner is served on board, framed by the quiet majesty of the southern wilderness. Overnight on board.
Day 2
After breakfast, guests disembark at Bahía Toro for a guided walk through the Andean-Patagonian forest. The trail winds through native lenga and coihue trees, revealing the rich diversity of the local flora. The path leads to a hidden waterfall, a peaceful spot where clear water cascades over mossy stones.
Back on board, the navigation continues into the Canal de los Témpanos, sailing among drifting icebergs toward the spectacular Perito Moreno Glacier.
Upon arrival at Puerto Perito Moreno, passengers disembark to walk along the panoramic boardwalks, offering multiple viewpoints of the glacier’s towering ice wall and the crackling sounds of its movement.
The tour continues by boat along the northern face of the glacier, where the scale and intensity of the ice come into full view — a deeply moving moment for many travelers.
Lunch is served on board during the return voyage through the Canal de los Témpanos, offering one last look at this unforgettable scenery.
The expedition concludes at 4:00 p.m. with disembarkation at Puerto La Soledad, leaving guests with lasting memories of Patagonia’s most iconic landscapes.
