Boarding begins at 6:00 p.m. Once on board, passengers gather on the fifth deck for a welcome toast and introductions to the captain and crew.<br \/>\nShortly after, the ship sets course for the far south, entering the legendary Beagle Channel and navigating the Strait of Magellan\u2014beginning a voyage through the waterways of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2 \u2013 Cape Horn and Wulaia Bay<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ship sails through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay toward Cape Horn National Park. If conditions allow, there is a landing at this iconic headland\u2014one of the southernmost points on the planet, long enveloped in maritime legend. In the afternoon, the expedition reaches Wulaia Bay, once a major settlement of the Yaghan canoe people. A forest trail lined with lenga, coihue, canelo, and ferns leads to a panoramic viewpoint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3 \u2013 P\u00eda Glacier and Porter Glacier<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the morning, the route follows the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel into P\u00eda Fjord. After disembarkation, a short hike leads to a lookout facing the glacier\u2014an ice mass descending from mountain peaks to the sea.<br \/>\nIn the afternoon, zodiacs navigate deep between steep rock walls toward the towering front of Porter Glacier, offering an intimate encounter with the ice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4 \u2013 \u00c1guila Glacier and C\u00f3ndor Glacier<\/strong><br \/>\nAt dawn, the ship enters Agostini Sound via the Cockburn Channel. Here, several glaciers descend from the core of the Darwin Range\u2014some reaching the sea. After breakfast, a zodiac landing leads to a walk along the shore of a meltwater lagoon at the foot of \u00c1guila Glacier. Later, zodiacs approach the face of C\u00f3ndor Glacier without disembarkation, accompanied by insights into the dynamics of glacial formation and the rugged relief of the Fuegian archipelagos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5 \u2013 Magdalena Island and Punta Arenas<\/strong><br \/>\nAt first light, if weather permits, the expedition lands on Magdalena Island, home to a vibrant colony of Magellanic penguins.
