Cerro Chapelco is another important patagonian ski center located only 20 kilometers away from San Mart\u00edn de los Andes.<\/h2>\n

It offers 29 marked tracks<\/strong>, with a new system of signals, covering 140 hectares of skiing surface. The 10 elevation means have a modern system of control through magnetic cards, called snow-pass<\/strong>, which permits the skiers move around the whole of the hill with no problems.<\/p>\n

Cerro Chapelco<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Besides, Cerro Chapelco has a quadruple chair lift<\/strong> whose speed can be regulated to bring comfort and safety to the users. Also, there are two ski carpets<\/strong> which correspond to the first learning stage of skiing. It is a modern travellator that lifts the skiers wearing all their equipment. Besides, there are many snow machines and snow cannons.<\/p>\n

From the top to the base the skiing slope is one of 730 meters, with a maximum angle of 45\u00b0 at one point.<\/p>\n

There is a high-status ski training center where you can learn all the different types, Alpine ski, Nordic ski and snowboard. They also have a special area for the experienced skiers.<\/p>\n

There are several restaurants, snack bars and shelters at different heights and also ski clothes and equipment rental services, obviously.<\/p>\n
