Skiing in the Castor Hill

You will be able to enjoy the southern snow in the most complete winter sports center in Ushuaia.

Located 27 km from the city, it is a modern complex that has 15 skiing tracks for every level. It comprises 17 km in length and has 400 hectares for skiing. It features as well the latest technology in elevation/transportation means: three chair lift systems for four people, one with a small cupola, a ski lift and bambi lift, with capacity to transport 5.000 passengers per hour. 

The rental equipment uses cutting edge technology and there is, in addition, a system that maintains the boots automatically deodorized and heated while skiing. 

The Skiing School, on the other hand, has a team of instructors dictating ski, snowboard and snowblade lessons. There is also a little school for children from 4 to 14 years old and a snow day-care center for the little ones.

In addition to all this, the climate provides an excellent snow quality and the longest skiing season in South America: from June to October.
