Parque Central and Cultural Complex

You can start this circuit from the downtown area, from Av. Olascoaga and Vuelta de Obligado. Here you will be able to visit a cultural complex that is located in the old Railway Station, built in 1902, of typical colonial English architecture. The platform is the axis of a walk to see the Undersecretariat of Culture of the Province, the Alicia Fernández Rego theater, Art gallery and the Emilio Saraco art gallery, where the most important plastic art exhibitions of the area are shown.

The Paseo de los Artesanos shows recycled wagons and you will also find the Railway Museum. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday.

Always following the tracks and crossing Av. Olascoaga you can enjoy the Parque Central. The Municipal Historical Museum is located 400 m. from there and was built in 1901 as maintenance grounds of the Southern Railway.
Other attractions in the area are the Cathedral, Government House and Municipality.
