Lake Strobel

Passing by Las Horquetas Hotel, 130 Km. (80 mi.) from Gobernador Gregores and 70 Km. (43, 5 mi.) from route Nº40 is Lake Strobel. This place is known by its marvelous landscapes and fishing richness; since it is hidden by Meseta del Viento, access is difficult and only possible in four wheel drive vehicles.

The surface of the lake is of 65 Km.2 and it receives the waters from Río Barrancoso. It’s the habitat of a rainbow trout colony and therefore one of the favorite places for fishing.
