Submarine baptism

More that just an excursion, this is a true experience. The Submarine Baptism allows, people who had never have done it, to live the adventure of submerging in the sea with all the necessary security requirements, of course.

The package includes the transfer to the diving place. There an isothermal neoprene suit will be provided for the baptism. Subsequently, you will receive a lecture previous to the immersion where how to use and handle the equipment will be explained.

Soon after, the navigation to the diving place begins, where there is a platform specially designed to make a comfortable immersion. Underneath this platform there is a small pool where a previous practice takes place. This way, you find yourself in the sea contained by the structure of the platform.

Once enough practicing has been made and feeling comfortable and safe, the descent begins. Guided by a rope, the calm descent is until arriving at the bottom, where the horizontal position is adopted and the tour through the submarine park begins, always guided and accompanied by the instructor from the beginning.

It’s is possible finding in the park specimens of the natural flora and fauna corresponding to the cold waters of the Patagonia, like mere, salmons, turks, sargos and little devils of the sea. In addition, a great variety of fauna associated to the bottoms, like anemones, starfishes, sprocket, sea urchins, etc., and of course green and brown seaweed can be observed.

Note:

- It has a three hours duration. The exit is scheduled to 10 A.M..
- It can be made throughout the whole year.
- It is necessary to bring a swimsuit and towel.
- It presents an average difficulty. The people suffering from vertigo, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, otitis and some other affections cannot dive. It is advisable consulting in case of any doubt.
- Pregnant women cannot dive either.
- It includes the entire diving equipment as well as a little diploma.
