Cerro Tronador and the glaciers
This is full-day excursion that shows you one of the wildest and most beautiful places in Nahuel Huapí National Park, as well as its highest peak.
You will travel route 258 (paved) and border Lake Gutiérrez and Lake Mascardi. A few km further, the unpaved road to Cerro Tronador appears to your right. The views of this majestic elevation are spectacular.
You will directly go West up to the rapids of the Manso river from here.
On the way back from the rapids, you will get back on the route towards Los Vuriloches valley, to reach and make a lunch stop at Pampa Linda.
After lunch, you will visit Ventisquero Negro, one of Cerro Tronador’s four glaciers, then getting to the foot of the Cerro.
You will then return to Bariloche by the same route that took you to your target destination.
